Adam Wright, a senior at Monte Vista High in Danville, placed second in the boys 110-meter hurdles final in a wind-aided 14.56 seconds at the CIF North Coast Section Meet of Champions at Dublin High in Dublin, Calif. Wright clocked a wind-aided 14.41 seconds in the prelims, and advances to the state meet after winning the Iowa state 4A championship last year at Dowling Catholic.
